Division Rules
- Two coaches may be in the huddle on the field.
- Coaches may not speak or signal after the play begins.
- Coaches must remain at least five yards behind the deepest player.
- No nose guard is allowed.
- No quarterback sneaks are allowed.
- The quarterback must run outside the guards.
- Special formation rules apply based on roster size.
Know Before You Register
General Eligibility Rules
- Player age is determined as of August 1.
- A player cannot turn 13 during the regular season or playoffs.
- Players cannot play down into a younger division.
- Players may play up only with the required approvals and roster conditions.
- Players cannot participate in both JV football and youth league football at the same time.
- All equipment must meet full certification standards.
Before Game Day
Weigh-In & Green Dot Rules
All players must complete weigh-in, have their birth certificate verified by a board member, and be recorded before becoming eligible to play.
Green Dot Players
Overweight players are designated as Green Dot players and must wear a visible green sticker on the back of their helmet. Position and play restrictions apply.
