How We Operate

Brooks Youth Football League maintains local control of its day-to-day operations while remaining accountable to the standards established by the Lauderdale County Youth Football Association.

BYFL — Local Operations

Brooks Youth Football League operates under its own local bylaws for the administration of the Brooks program, including board operations, finances, registration, volunteers, sponsorships, equipment, and other internal league matters.

Lauderdale County — Competition Rules

BYFL is a member of the Lauderdale County Youth Football Association and follows the county association's official rules and regulations for league competition. These county rules govern player eligibility, age divisions, weigh-ins, certified equipment, game conduct, coaching limits, schedules, playoff procedures, and on-field competition.

When a county competition rule applies, BYFL follows the Lauderdale County Youth Football Association rulebook. Our goal is to maintain a safe, organized, transparent, and positive football program for Brooks-area athletes and families.
